New Tango Tutorial

Dear all,

here is our new Tango Tutorial for intermediate and advanced. We hope you like it and we promise to upload the next one this week. The Tutorials are somehow connected to what we do in the group classes so if you have any question don´t hesitate on bringing it to the Monday´s class.

Ladies Technique Workshop is coming soon!

Come to enjoy a Saturday full of Tango with two teachers from Argentina. Juliana Aparicio and Maia Glikstein teaching a three hours Lady´s Tango Technique unique Workshop in Berlin.

The first part of the workshop will be dedicated to a practice exercises for balance and flexibility based in a yoga routine specially designed for tango dancers.

Then we will practice the walking and the posture.

We will also work on the main elements of the dance like giros, boleos and ornaments to make your dance more musical and elegant.

Beside de technical training the workshop is a space where you can bring all your questions and to work on the aspects of the dance that you want to improve.

About Maia Glikstein
Argentinian Tango dancer with a background in classical ballet. She started her first Tango steps with Maestros in Buenos Aires in Salon and Stage style.
In 2005 she gets a scholarship in the National Ballet School of Madrid, Spain. In 2007 starts working for Zero Hour Tango Studio in Tokyo. With this company she will do shows in Japan and China. In 2009 assisted to the Praysaac Festival in France and worked in Italy and Israel.
Now she is doing a formation in Sportive Yoga and Ashtanga, traveling to India as a student.

About Juliana Aparicio
Born in Buenos Aires, Argenitna.
When she was five years old she started a nine years training in Rhythmic Gymnastics.
In 2005 studied classical ballet and Modern Jazz. With nineteen years old she started to dance Tango Argentino. From 2012 she starts her professional career as a Tango dancer and teacher taking part in several Festivals in Europe and Asia.
Since 2016 she lives in Berlin and teaches regular classes in Tango Berlin.

Kommt und verbringt euren Samstagnachmittag beim Training mit zwei erfahrenen Tanzlehrerinnen aus Argentinien!

Im ersten Teil des Workshops widmen wir uns Yogaübungen zur Balance und Dehnung, die auf das Tangotanzen zugeschnitten sind.

Anschließend arbeiten wir an der Haltung und dem Gehen.
Außerdem werden wir die verschiedenen Elemente wie Drehungen (giros), boleos und natürlich Verzierungen zur Verschönerung des Tanzes üben.

Neben dem technischen Training wollen wir aber auch Raum für alle Fragen bieten, die du schon immer stellen wolltest und so an den Aspekten des Tanzes arbeiten, die dich am meisten interessieren.

New from September!

The summer is soon over and we start with new Classes and the Friday´s Milonga!

Don´t forget to register for the classes and to contact us if you have any question.

Tango Salon

The regular Tango classes orientated to the social dance (Tango Salon) are reloaded! Juliana Aparicio is an experienced tango dancer and Teacher with a background in Jazz and Classical Dance. She is now in town and will be teaching all the group classes with Santiago Hernández.

Beginners: Monday 18hr. and Thursday 19:30.

Intermediate and Advanced: Monday and Wednesday 19:30.

Milonga and Vals Classes

Every Tuesday from 18 to 19:30 hr. starts a new class to learn figures and practice dancing to Milonga and Vals Music.

The class is orientated to dancers that have learned already the tango basics and are going to Milongas.

We divide the class in two parts and we learn a figure to dance with Vals and one to dance with Milonga.

Choreographic Group

On this class you will learn choreographic sequences specially created for your level. This choreographies will be learn slowly, developing all the technical skills to finally dance them with the music. The classes will include the traditional technique but also other choreographic elements.

You need to have an intermediate/advanced level and register with a partner to take advantage of this class.

Every Tuesday from 19:30 to 21:00.

Woman´s Technique

Juliana Aparicio just arrived from Buenos Aires to Berlin. Don´t miss her classes!

Every Wednesday from 18:00 to 19:30 it is only for women and is suitable for all levels.

You don´t need a partner for this class and you can jump in when ever you like!

It will be a space to learn and practice, to dance and have fun and to ask all the questions you have about woman´s technique.

Men´s Technique

Tango technique for men  with Santiago Hernández every Thursday from 18:00 to 19:30. 

It is a class to develop individual technical skills as the posture, the walking, etc. but also to understand and practice the lead.

Morena Milonga

From the 2nd of September Tango Berlin reopens it´s Friday´s Milonga.

Starting from 21:30  until  1:30. You can have drinks and empanadas, dance to the best traditional classic tango with tandas like in Buenos Aires.

Beginners are also welcome!
